The brains may be the greatest friend or our strongest adversary, it has been said. So what we eat our brains is closely related to how we relax ourselves and also harm ourselves in harmful ways, not just through over-consumption of pain, but through opioid or alcohol self-medication, procrastination or interpersonal confrontation.
If you're interested in discovering how to consume differently with respect and self-compassion, you won't want to skip out on the third of a sequence of four women's seminars, "Live Your Best Life 2019: Be Inspired," presented by Bela Friedman, professional life coach and licensed hypnotherapist.
"I'm delighted to be presenting this third workshop where people will feel secure and confident, identify and discuss struggles and be influenced by other people," said Friedman. Each each workshop the style is special and involves dialogue, journaling, directed imagination, reflection, energy practice, etc.
Within just five to ten minutes, how can you improve the life for the better?
In my view, it begins every morning by checking in with yourself with a marvelous method invented by Tony Robbins named priming. I have my own priming edition which I use and want to share with you. I know all of us can be lethargic in the morning, or maybe hurry through breakfast to get going with work and a busy day. So if you get up just five or ten minutes early, you would be able to make a difference in your day, life and universe. Here's how it works: lie down in bed when you wake up and continue breathing very steadily through your nose and 20 times out of your nose or mouth.
Take a journal or diary next to your pillow, and write down three items for which you are thankful.
Put your hand on your heart and imagine the light, energy, and warmth of the sun from the top of your head to the tips of your toes; then picture the light, energy, and warmth of the sun that covers your loved ones; and finally the light, energy, and warmth of the sun that covers the world and all its inhabitants and animals.
This is what it is. This fast workout has proven to make a positive difference in my day and in my planet — so I'm sure it will make a positive difference in yours too. And who knows, maybe our high vibration in performing this basic everyday exercise will bring about a meaningful shift for the entire planet!
